A PRAIA DA GALHETA

Possui uma extensão de 950 metros, com larga faixa de areia branca e fina. O mar, geralmente calmo, é ideal para o banho e esportes náuticos. Não possui nenhuma estrutura turística por ser um Parque Ecológico, mas a Praia Mole (ao lado) separada por pedras - oferece serviços de hospedagem, bar, alimentação e sanitários.

O Parque Municipal da Praia da Galheta com área de 1.493 ha, na costa leste da Ilha de Santa Catarina, foi criado pela Lei 3455/90 e regulamentado pelo Decreto 698/94.

GALHETA BEACH - NATURIST BEACH

The Galheta Beach is a beach located in the rugged eastern island of Santa Catarina, which is situated Florianópolis, capital of the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. It is accessible only by trails, low degree of difficulty, starting at Praia Mole or channel Barra da Lagoa, 15 miles from the center of the Capital. The naturism is allowed by municipal law since 1997, but it was practiced for many years. It has a length of 950 meters, with wide range of fine white sand. The sea, usually calm, ideal for swimming and water sports. It has no tourist infrastructure to be an Ecological Park, but the Praia Mole (right) separated by stones - offers hosting services, bar, food and health.

The Municipal Park Beach Galheta with area of 1,493 ha on the east coast of the island of Santa Catarina, was created by Law 3455/90 and regulated by Decree 698/94.

The process of their creation began in the 80s with the movement for environmental preservation, contrary to speculation that destroyed the greatest natural beauties of the island of Santa Catarina.
